Why do we hunger for super stars? It’s as if we have some sort of strange need for them. They live in the imaginary world that we create for them and somehow their enigmatic unreality meets a desire in the hearts of those who crave them. There is this strange universal longing for someone who breaks the mundane patterns of normal life. There is a longing in the human heart for something or someone who transcends the ordinariness and is bigger than life.
